MakerStage respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal and confidential information shared with us during the RFQ, order, and support lifecycle. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account and Contact: name, company, email, phone, job title collected via RFQ forms and support channels.
- Project Data: part files (STEP/IGES), drawings, tolerances, materials, quantities, delivery requirements, messages.
- Usage: device/browser metadata, pages viewed, actions on our site (aggregated and pseudonymized for analytics where enabled by consent).
How We Use Information
- Provide quotes, manufacturing services, and customer support.
- Improve our services, QA processes, and site reliability.
- Send operational communications (order updates, RFQ clarifications).
- Comply with legal requirements and prevent abuse.
File Security and Confidentiality
- Access restricted to personnel under NDA on a need-to-know basis.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest for uploaded files.
- Retention aligned to contract needs; deletion on request where legally permissible.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with vetted suppliers for the purpose of manufacturing, and with subprocessors that provide infrastructure, communications, or analytics services under data processing agreements.
