How the MakerStage Quote Process Works
Upload your CAD files (STEP, IGES, STL, or 3MF) and specify material, quantity, and finish requirements. Our engineering team reviews every submission with a free DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis, flagging potential issues before production begins.
MakerStage supports CNC machining (3-axis and 5-axis milling, turning, Swiss-type), 3D printing (FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF, DMLS, Metal FFF), and sheet metal fabrication (laser cutting, bending, welding). Tolerances as tight as ±0.0002 in. (±0.005 mm) on CNC parts. No minimum order quantity — prototypes to production runs of 10,000+ parts.
Quote response is typically within one business day. Material certification (mill test reports) and CMM inspection reports are available on request.
