Send the STEP model, controlled PDF drawing, material and thickness, finish, hardware details, weld requirements, quantity by build phase, revision, target date, and requested inspection records.

Can MakerStage qualify a complete server rack or enclosure?

No. MakerStage can manufacture customer-defined sheet metal components. Rack compatibility, structural loading, airflow, EMI, environmental ratings, safety testing, and certification remain with the OEM or a separately qualified provider.

Are inspection and material records available?

Yes, when requested and included in the quote. Available records can include dimensional inspection, CMM reports where appropriate, and material test reports.

Does the RFQ include DFM support?

Yes. MakerStage includes a free DFM review with every RFQ to surface fabrication questions before the quoted revision is released.

Finished datums, hardware, welds, and finishes can change the part after the flat pattern. The RFQ should describe the released condition that will be inspected.
